The end of the year brings so much excitement. Not only is it summer holidays, celebrations, and the hope of a fresh new year, but it offers a time to reflect on all the amazing things that have happened in the past 12 months.

2023 has been an absolute dream for us here at Curvy Swimwear and we are thrilled to share our year in review with you all. From launching our very own pool to searching for our next Curvy ambassador, 2023 has been filled with exciting new developments for the Curvy Swimwear community.

The Curvy Pool

April saw the completion and launch of our very own Curvy Pool. This was a major highlight on the Curvy Swimwear calendar for 2023, with the Slim Aarons inspired pool open for swimming season. We toasted the launch with our gorgeous Curvy community and set the pool to work.

You'll see the Curvy Pool and surrounds in our photoshoots from 2023, as it sets the perfect scene for our fabulous swimwear collections. The simple, mid-century design creates the ideal backdrop for our vibrant prints and stunning colours, offering a visual feast for all.

Splash of Colour

Curvy Swimwear was blessed to be discovered by Splash of Colour earlier this year. Splash of Colour is an incredible program that teaches women from culturally diverse backgrounds how to swim. This opens a whole new world of possibilities for them and their families as they embrace the water-obsessed Australian lifestyle.

This year we provided sponsorship and swimwear for Splash of Colour. Next year, we will be working in collaboration with them to design a range of suitable swimwear for culturally specific needs. Stay tuned for our Splash of Colour collection with fabulous new modest swimwear styles in practical chlorine resistant fabric. We are excited!!

Curvy Ambassador

Curvy Swimwear is all about celebrating body confidence and diversity. We love featuring a variety of models in our campaigns and across our website and socials. This year, we have put the call out for more Curvy ambassadors to represent our diverse community.

The Curvy Confidence ambassador search is open to anyone in Australia who lives the Curvy Swimwear values. All ages, sizes, and shapes are welcome to apply - the more variety, the better. We are so excited to introduce you to more of our fabulous Curvy community in 2024. Stay tuned...

Friends of Curvy

In 2023, we made lots of new friends and nurtured our relationships with long time loves. We feel blessed to share our passion for inclusion and body confidence with like-minded souls in our community. From influencers, to media personalities, models, athletes, performers, and more, our circle of friends grew in 2023 and we couldn't be happier.

Our highlights this year included our chat with Shelly Horton, Nikki Parkinson, and Jenni Eyles for World Menopause Day, our introduction to Ennia from Splash of Colour, and collaboration with the coolest girl gang in town. Our billboard queen, The Bodzilla, was back in Curvy Swimwear with her group of gorgeous gal pals for a dreamy girls' weekend that featured the beauties decked out in Curvy Swimwear, chilling in the pool.

We've ended the year on a high note, collaborating with the incredible Jules Robinson. The self love mega queen is decked out for summer in our fabulous Leopard print swimwear, rocking her gorgeous curves and embracing good times! We are truly inspired by her zest for life, her confidence to achieve her goals, and her ability to make dreams come true. Consider us influenced!
